There certainly is not shortage of methods to get targeted website traffic. The shortage lies in the effort, time, and financial resources for most people. My pet peeve is really a knuclehead that writes a completely non-sensical comment with irrelevant anchor text for back links to their website. Yes, that might give them a point for having an exta link back to their site but it will do nothing for getting a free visitor from targeted website traffic. If anything, I think the owner of that website may have wasted some money with outsourcing some link building efforts to someone that really doesn’t care about the underlying goal, finding quality customers by getting targeted website traffic.
